Michael McNevin

The
first Tree House Concert of 2005 featured Michael
McNevin, all the way from Niles, California (an hour away!). Michael featured
a number of songs from his childhood, including many for an old friend he
grew up with who was in the audience to see Michael perform for the first
time. It was a very funny night with lots of stories, impressions, and songs.
Michael wasn't even flustered by the clothes still hanging up on a line next
door - it was a three-bra night (see the chair!). The after-show jam featured lots of covers
by Guy Clark, Dave Carter, Greg Brown, and Slaid Cleaves. Michael went to
bed that night singing Guy Clark's "The
Cape."
