Peter Mulvey
June 15, 2004
Our fourth house concert featured Milwaukee's Peter Mulvey, our second Signature Sounds recording artist to visit the Tree House (see Mark Erelli). Peter's two sets were simply stunning; his lyrics and guitar playing are just on another level, just above his banter between songs.
It was the first sold out Tree House Concert, with 40 people in the house, including three promoters: Morgan Christopher, previously of Morgan's coffeehouse, Ray Askew of Ocean Thunder, and Arden Eaton, KPIG deejay and host of Arden's Garden. Local singer/songwriter and Peter's friend Nancy Jones also showed up.
DOWNLOAD THAT NIGHT: Many thanks to Joe Navratil for his wonderful taping of that evening, with Peter's blessing. Joe has made his work available through a technology called BitTorrent. The file details and set list are available at Archive.org.
